The word Micro says it all. Microgreens are plant-grown vegetables and herbs. Unlike large greens and vegetables that take weeks or months to grow, microgreens can be harvested and eaten 5-10 days after the cotyledon. These small species are only a few centimeters long and can come in 50 to 60 different sizes. Our microgreens are grown in a soilless greenhouse on our vertical farm using a combination of NFT and harvesting techniques.

The NFT Nutrient Film Technique is a method of growing Microgreens with water-based nutrients, which dissolves all the essential elements. We use Coco Mats as growing material. Coco Mats are a great choice for a soilless growing system for Microgreens. Coconuts are made from coconuts as much as possible so that the perishables are concentrated for the best taste. Coco Mats retain water and air the best. You can add them to a salad, add them to a sandwich, or add them to a steak or fish dish to create a floral contrast.

Microgreens contain 40 times more nutrients than their adults. Many microgreens are good sources of vitamins A, C, E and K.
Microgreens lose their nutrients quickly after cooking, try to eat them raw as much as possible.
